Mac Fans

ShareThisLast week I read a post at Suse Linux Enterprise in the Americas where the Asus EeePC was compared with its competitors. The quote that really grabbed my attention mentioned that Asus made the MacBook.  I did some googling and checked that out and it's true Asus does make the MacBook. Wow!  Apple's got a great product except I can't get used to using one mouse button after having used two for too many years. Add to that Asus is making an IMac killer that is going to run Linux. The Macintosh is one helluva machine and it's downright sexy too, but is it worth more than a $500 Linux look-a-like. Time will tell.

Don, there's a decent sized

Don, there's a decent sized community of Mac users here at Novell, mostly because there are things that Linux still doesn't support or do well, such as video editing, podcasting etc. and rather than use Windows for such things, we use the Macs.

I used to hate the 1button thing, but now I have the Logitech VX Nano wireless mouse and what a difference having an external and button-laden mouse makes when working on the Mac!

Anyway, we all love our Linux boxen and don't want to make M$oft any richer, and at least it's all UNIX-inspired...
