Today has been a day packed with learning as I hoped it would be. I met some ladies early at NECC 2009 who showed me how to use Twitter with students and keep it save. I also learned about using a range of Web 2.0 tools from a couple of professors at Johns Hopkins University. I learned about Wordle, Jing, Screencast and some other applications too. In a few minutes I'm going to a presentation about using SMS and VOIP with students. There is just so much here at NECC 2009. I spent some time at the Google booth on the exhibit floor and learned how I can use Google Apps with 7th graders. I also learned that on July 14, 2009 Google will rollout Postini for educational users of Google Apps. That's great news for those of us in K-12. Thank you Google.
