Jungledisk

ShareThisLast night I was reading Groklaw's news feed and I came upon a particularly interesting article Cloud Computing Tips for the Enterprise. In the article was a link to Amazon S3 and Jungledisk. I've been reading about Amazon's Simple Storage but until last night had not used it. Now I'm using Jungledisk on Linux and Windows to connect to my own simple storage on Amazon. With Jungledisk you can store an unlimited amount of data for only fifteen cents a gigabyte. I downloaded the Linux client for Jungledisk, installed it, setup my AWS account on Amazon and I did a couple of test backups and uploaded some individual files to my new simple storage account. This is a real bargain, very useful and an unbelievably inexpensive way to backup your data.
