This could have a major impact on its acceptance. I've been a Ubuntu user since version 6.06 LTS. I'm currently running Ubuntu 8.04 on my Dell notebook which is my primary platform. I am going to download Ubuntu 8.10 server and test out its virtual machine capabilities.
Building on the Just Enough Operating System (JeOS) version launched last year, Ubuntu 8.10 ships with a Virtual Machine builder.
