The new winner is the Mac, but, while no one does a good job of tracking the still-new, pre-installed Linux desktop market, it's also clear that Linux is finally making impressive inroads into Windows' once unchallenged market share.

After reading article ask yourself how often your own technology purchases have been vendor driven and not driven by your own thinking. Isn't it more comfortable to have someone tell you how to use technology than to have to discover that for yourself.

Hyper-V
Submitted by Don Watkins on Sun, 03/23/2008 - 18:55ShareThisI have to admit that when I first read about Microsoft's new Hyper-V I dismissed it as too little too late, but I do respect what Ross Brunson has to say about this issue at Suse Linux Enterprise in the Americas. Actually after reading what Ross has written I have to agree that this is a major step for Microsoft to even recognize Linux as a major player.
