Microsoft tells how to recover data using Linux

Interesting article from Microsoft’s site Port 25 about how to recover crashed Windows using Linux...I've also used Knoppix Live CD to recover information from crashed or spyware infested Windows drives that refuse to cooperate well. Make sure that you have your anti-virus up to date when you bring the data back to Windows. read more | digg story

At last week's NYSCATE Conference in Rochester, New York I was able to meet many education professionals who have come to realize the power of open source software. There was a day long session at NYSCATE that dealt with Moodle.
